RAINOUT INFORMATION

Sunday, April 19th - 12pm - 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Kid Pitch Softball games have been moved to Huffhines Park, please check your schedule to see which field your grade level will be playing on. 4th and 5th Grade Kid Pitch Baseball games are cancelled due to wet field conditions. 6th Grade Boys Baseball will play at Mark Twain Park today.

TBall and Machine Pitch games scheduled at Northwood Hills #1 & #2, Spring Valley #1 &#2, Bowie and Spring Creek will all play as scheduled.

Games scheduled at Brentfield, Aikin, Arapaho Classical (ACM), and Stults are all cancelled due to wet field conditions.

Footballs games scheduled for Sunday will play as scheduled.

2026 SUMMER BASKETBALL

  • Registration is March 30th through May 22nd
  • The summer league is comprised of teams formed by coaches
  • The season runs from June 6th through July 11th (no games on July 4th)
  • Teams have two games per week - one weeknight game and one weekend game
  • We offer Boys 2nd-12th grades and Girls 2nd-8th grades
  • Cost is $100 per player

REGISTRATION FOR PLUCKY IS OPEN!

  • Spring session #2 starts April 22nd and runs through May 28th
  • Games are Thursday nights with the exception of the first week which will be on Wednesday
  • Games are held at Mark Twain Park
  • Spots are limited so register now!

WE ARE HIRING UMPIRES FOR SPRING!

Requirements:

  • Age 15 or older for tball, age 16 or older for baseball and softball
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Basic knowledge of baseball rules

Registration Information

Information for Coaches

  • If you plan to coach a team this season, please register to coach online by going to the registration tab at the top of this page. Coaches need to register each season.
  • Coach's badges are required at all games. If you have not coached with us before, please email a headshot or selfie to coaches@svaa.org for your badge.

Financial assistance is available for qualifying families.  Please click the link below, fill out the forms, and return it, along with the required documentation, to our office. There is a drop slot outside of our door for after hour drop offs or you can email it to avines@svaa.org.

Welcome to Spring Valley Athletic Association

Our Mission

SVAA’s mission is to enrich the lives of children and their families by providing well-organized, age-appropriate, and enjoyable youth sports programs. We offer a wide range of recreational sports for children of all ages and skill levels, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and community.

SVAA is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization based in Dallas, Texas, serving families throughout the RISD and North Dallas areas. Our programs give children the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun through recreational sports—without pressure or tryouts.

Did you know?

  • SVAA has been offering recreational youth sports in the RISD/North Dallas area since 1968

  • More than 14,000 children participate in one or more SVAA sports each year

  • Over 1,300 teams compete across our programs annually

  • There are no tryouts or recruiting—teams are formed by SVAA based on the schools players attend

  • More than 2400 adult volunteers generously give their time and talents to support our programs

  • SVAA is led entirely by community volunteers, including our Board of Directors, Sports Commissioners, and League Presidents

Register Login

1. When asked to log in, use any username and password you already have with SVAA.
• This may be your child’s player account or your coach account.

2. On the next page, you will see a list of your family members:
• Mark Guardians as Parents.
• Mark children as Players.
• If a Parent or Player appears twice, mark one as Duplicate.

3. Click Continue after selecting your family roles.

4. Edit your login details as needed.
• This login can be used to register all family members.

5. Click Submit when finished.

6. Register your players on the next page.
• Select “Register Player” next to your child’s name.

SVAA Scholarship Program

SVAA proudly supports the educational goals of our student-athletes. Each year, we award scholarships to high school seniors who have participated in SVAA programs and are pursuing a college degree.

For 2026, SVAA will award up to $60,000 to as many as 20 recipients.
