SVAA's goal is to create an environment where every child will play and learn the game. No tryouts are required.
SVAA has been organizing softball leagues for over 35 years. Our T-Ball league is for Kindergarten and 1st grade girls. Machine pitch is 2nd - 3rd grades (pitching machine speeds: 2nd at 30 mph, 3rd at 32 mph), and player pitch is 4th - 6th grades.
Our Spring season runs mid-March through the end of May. Games may be played on both weeknights and weekends. Rain outs will be rescheduled. Practice days and times are scheduled by the coach. There will be standings and tournaments for 2nd grade and up.
There is a substitution rule, which states that no player may sit on the bench for two consecutive defensive innings. Each team must bat its roster. Team size maximum is 12 players.
